U.S. Rep.-elect Mike Conaway, R-Midland, Wednesday said he has leased offices in Midland and San Angelo and is planning more in Odessa and two cities on the east end of his 400-mile-wide 11th Congressional District.

" Setting up district offices has been a priority since my election Nov. 2," Conaway said. "The best way to serve the people of District 11 is to make sure every constituent has access to the services we can provide. I will work closely with each community in all 36 counties."

He said the offices will open Jan. 3, the day before his swearing-in in Washington, in Suite 2000 at Claydesta Center at 6 Desta Drive and in Suite 306 in O.C. Fisher Federal Building at 33 E. Twohig Ave. in San Angelo.

A Conaway aide said the east end locations haven't been decided. "We're considering multiple locations," he said
