On Tuesday, House Democrats admitted that the Republican 'All of the Above' energy plan for America is the best choice for the future of our energy independence.

Today, I voted against approving a journal of the Congressional record to prevent some irresponsible remarks from becoming part of the official log of comments made on the House floor. Yesterday, a Democrat lawmaker unfortunately compared his party's presidential nominee to Jesus Christ. Additionally, he alluded that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is akin to Pontius Pilate. This morning, our GOP House leadership delivered a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) asking her to call the House back into emergency session this month to deal with the country's growing energy crisis. The letter said, in part:
